We turn old swimming pools into modern luxury pools with State-of-the-Art Features.
Air handling or environmental control systems are essential on any indoor pool project to prevent condensation leading to mould and costly damage to the pool hall. It also ensures that the pool hall is a comfortable environment for users and bathers. A well fitted pool cover will cut down the evaporation however once the cover is removed the high humidity in the environment will cause the warm wet air to condense on surfaces. The most common thought is that ventilating the room by opening windows and doors will stop this problem. This is not the case – unfortunately the pool hall just cools down, wasting precious energy and warmth while evaporation still continues landing on surfaces once all closed up again.
An efficient airhandling unit will recondition this internal wet air, replacing it with fresh outside air. It will also recover the condensed water enabling it to be reused back into the pool. The water temperature must be maintained within 1 degree of the air temperature to stop evaporation.
Each air handling unit is bespoke, built entirely for your special project and includes all necessary pipework to the pool or spa and are suitable for gas, electric or oil systems.
Various options are available which we can discuss in the design stages, depending on the pool size and hall design.
Huge advances have been made in water treatment in the last few years with one of the most exciting being the Dryden Aqua Daisy System where you swim in drinking water class pool water with less chlorine than the water in your tap.
